Stop Smoking

Jack* desired a smoke-free path.

Jack was a pack-a-day smoker who managed to stop several times before but had always picked the habit back up again.

In my first consultation with Jack, e was doubtful and fearful that he’d never quit smoking for good after failing so many times – and yet, he felt a glint of determination inside himself to see it through this time.

He had already lost both of his parents to smoking-related illnesses.

He knew he was headed down a similar path if he did not stop soon – not to mention the money it was costing and the toll on his energy and stamina.

Jack is now a non-smoker.

Jack chose to taper off cigarettes slowly rather than going “cold turkey.”

And after our first session, with his custom hypnosis recording, he found it easier than ever before to resist the cravings to smoke.

We set a date for his last cigarette.

When Jack came in for his second session, he was not only smoke-free but also considered himself a permanent non-smoker.

Jack’s decision impacted his entire life.

Through hypnosis, NLP, and the many tips and tricks offered in my practice, Jack successfully curbed his smoking cravings long enough for his body to recover and the urges to disappear.

Two months later, he came in for a follow-up. Not only was he still smoke-free, but he had made additional lifestyle changes and was feeling better than ever.

Jill* couldn’t kick her smoking habit.

Jill was a stay-at-home mom and, like Jack, also smoked about a pack a day.

She tried everything to stop – nicotine gum, patches, medicine from the doctor, and even “Smokers Anonymous.” Nothing worked, and Jill was becoming increasingly frustrated.

She felt like she was a bad mom and was afraid that smoking would shorten her life, resulting in not being there for her kids.

To make matters worse, Jill’s husband, Tom, smoked as well, making it extra tricky for Jill to stop smoking.

Jill and Tom* received a gift.

A kind relative gave Jill and Tom hypnosis sessions as a gift.

Kicking the habit was not easy for either of them; but with support from friends, family, and the powerful hypnosis process, Jill and Tom successfully broke their smoking habit.

Both Jill and Tom felt great at their two-month follow-up. They loved the profound relaxation session and were thrilled to take home a recording to ensure ongoing support during those stressful times.

Beyond feeling healthy and happy, Jill and Tom also realized how much money they saved from not buying cigarettes. Who knows… maybe they could now treat themselves to a family getaway!

Get Ready to Stop Smoking – Here are my recommended top five steps.

Pick a date – Pick a date that you will stop. Make it no more than three or four weeks in the future to be close enough to take seriously. Please put it on the calendar; this tells your deep inner mind that you’re serious about this, thus increasing your likelihood of success.

You are now a NON-smoker – Begin thinking of yourself as a non-smoker. Identity is one of the strongest predictors of behavior, especially for smoking. So even if you are still smoking, think of yourself as a NON-smoker.

Stock up on tea tree toothpicks – These toothpicks have a minty flavor and come in a flip-top pack. Smoking Cessation clients LOVE these as they mimic the actions one takes when reaching for a cigarette. Except, you are getting a toothpick out of a pack and put that in your mouth instead. Best of all, the tea tree is a natural antiseptic and makes your mouth feel minty fresh. You can get these gems at Natural Grocers, Whole Foods, and Amazon.

Discover your triggers – Most soon-to-be non-smokers find it helpful to review their smoking patterns, looking for the times they are most likely to light up. Common triggers are stressful situations, after a meal, while driving, and as a reward. Consider what options would be nourishing for you to do instead of smoking. In our first session, I will help you discover even more options.

Seek hypnosis support – Ending your relationship with nicotine products is a big decision. Making that decision takes courage and determination. These qualities are a big part of the equation. Hypnosis is the best friend you could ever have in your quest to quit smoking if you have those qualities.

Start a new life as a non-smoker.

Imagine how great you are going to feel as you take deep, clean breaths. Imagine clearer skin and fresh smelling clothes and being a good role model for your kids and other loved ones. More importantly, your body immediately begins to heal, and your health begins to improve.

Jack, Jill, and Tom are now non-smokers – Now and Forever. And you can be, too.

Make the decision today to be a NOW and FOREVER NON-SMOKER.
